| Comments | Match Report Report by Alasdair Fraser for the Scotsman. Ross County 2 Clydebank 3 Loss After Extra Time Former Aberdeen and Scotland goalkeeper Nicky Walker last night cost ten-man Ross County an attractive Tennents Scottish Cup tie against Dundee United with a blunder deep into extra time of their third-round replay at Dingwall. Walker let a long ball by substitute Ali McMillan slip through his fingers and under the cross-bar in the 110th minute. County had gone ahead when Nail Tarrant fired a 25-yard left-foot shot high into the net, but Clydebank countered after the break with a double by Innes Ritchie. He touched home the first in 50 minutes and added another from close range two minutes later. County levelled when Roy McBain slid in to net Steve Ferguson was sent off in the 100th minute for a second bookable offence. |
