| Comments | Match Report Report from the Daily Record. Albion Rovers 1 Ross County 3 County boss Neale Cooper reckons his can blow the promotion race wide open when they take on second-placed Arbroath on Saturday. The Highlanders chalked up their seventh win in their last eight matches against Rovers and Cooper warned: "We have a real chance to keep the pot boiling next week with Arbroath coming to us. "A victory would really open it up and they have still to face Rovers who are certainly not easy to beat." Brassed-off Rovers gaffer Vinnie Moore didn't exactly agree with that appraisal of his flops. They've now lost six games on the trot and he moaned: "We gifted them goals and we also missed great chances. We continue to make it difficult for ourselves but we can only keep battling." Goals by Steve Ferguson, Alex Taylor and Derek Adam put County in command before John Dickson pulled one back. Moore added: "There will be changes. Some players will go through their choice and some through our choice. "We are looking to improve the squad for next season and our basic aim is to bring in better than what we've got." |
