Reeling Ross County have crashed out of two cups and lost both leagues games--but Julian Broddle insists: We're going to give some team a right doing.
Former Raith Rovers star Broddle reckons the Dingwall outfit have merely suffered a hiccup on their surge to a place in the Second Division.
He blames the setbacks on having to chop and change the team because of injuries and suspensions. And Broddle boomed: "Once we settle down we're going to hit someone--and hit them Hard. I can see us turning a team over big-style.
"We took ages to find our feet against Queens, but when we did we looked the part.
"There is an unbelievable spirit it's going to win promotion for us. I think we will do it."
Broddle has moved into centre midfield and he produced his finest display since turning part-time for County.
But it wasn't enough to prevent goals by David Arbuckle and Ian Maxwell clinching victory for the Spiders.
Young Stuart Golabek's thundering 71st minute free-kick levelled Arbuckle's opener in 35 seconds.
But County let Queen's charge straight up the field to hit a 72nd minute winner.
Keeper Dave Cormack, who's had a stormy start since he arrived from Hamilton, missed a cross whish allowed Maxwell to head in.
Golabek nearly squared it again later with a cracking 20-yard shot that cannoned off Gordon Bruce's left-hand post.
He's emerging as a real star for County and Broddle said: "We need to bring Golly into the game more often. He's got real ability.
"I'm chuffed with my own form as well. I haven't played centre midfield since I teamed up with the Spaniard Victor Munoz at St Mirren."
County boss Neale Cooper reckoned his team were unlucky not to take a point.
And he denied he was planning a player clear-out. He said: "Until the type of player I want becomes available, every player will have a chance to stake his claim."
Queen's coach Hugh McCann praised his players but said: "We should have had it wrapped up in the first half.
