| Comments | Match Report Report from the Daily Record. Cowdenbeath 0 Ross County 1 Blazing Cowden boss Tom Steven handed out a few home truths after his men crashed to an 88th minute penalty. County were able to snatch the points when Barry McMahon brought Derek Adams down in the box and Adams netted from the spot. And shaken Steven--who saw his team elide from second to forth--blazed: "It's no damn use retaining possession if you can't score goals. "I expected a good result today--especially playing at home. If you can't bag three points at home where can you?" County player-boss Neale Cooper was delighted with his side's second win on the trot. Coop beamed: "It was a hard fought game for both teams, so we are obviously delighted with the result. "This will give us the confidence to go in fighting against Inverness Caley next week." |
