| Comments | Match Report Report from the Daily Record. Ross County 2 Cowdenbeath 2 Ross County boss Bobby Wilson didn't know who to be more angry with--Cowdenbeath or his own team. Furious Wilson gave every one of his men a tongue-lashing after they threw away a two-goal lead, then blasted Cowden for time-wasting. He fired "We never got out of second gear at any time, and we didn't deserve to go two goals ahead. "I thought we might have snapped out of it when Jamie MacPherson scored, but it just went from bad to worse. "I told the players that in my book not one of them deserved even five out of 10. Everyone must take responsibility for the way we play. "I was surprised there wasn't more time added on at the end. "Some of their supposed injuries reeked of gamesmanship. But I talked to the referee after the game and he said two-and-half minutes was sufficient," Colin Milne put County ahead from the spot after Cowden's Barry McMahon handled inside the area. Then MacPherson spotted keeper Russell off his line and scored from outside the area. County should have been cruising, but slack defending allowed Gary Wood to pull one back, then Graham Buckley fired home the equaliser. Referee Les Mottram might have taken action as the visitors began dropping like flies for no apparent reason, and the time-wasting antics helped put an end to County's hopes of a winner. |
