| Comments | Match Report Report from the Daily Record. Ross County 1 East Stirlingshire 1 Ross County manager Bobby Wilson will hand defender Sandy MacLeod, former Don stricker Andy MacLeod and defender Chris Sommerville chances to earn Scottish League recalls in the Inverness Cup tonight. County tackle Highland League Lossiemouth, one of four Scottish Cup qualifiers, in a first round tie at Victoria Park and Wilson wants each of the trio to grab his chance with both hands. He said: "I'm not bringing the Aberdeen and south-based players up for the game and that means there's a big chance for a few fringe players to push themselves forward. "There'll be no Brian Grant, Colin Milne, Billy Herd or Willie Furphy against Lossie, so I want to see the guys who come in give me something to think about in the build-up to Saturday's trip to Cliftonhill. The County boss admitted he was disappointed to see his side miss a chance to close on league leaders Livingston, who went down 1-0 to Arbroath, in a 1-1 home draw with East Stirling. A 71st minute Willie Furphy goal had County on course for three points but, in a game where chances were few and far between, an 85th minute equaliser from Murray Hunter grabbed Shire a point. |
