| Comments | Match Report Report by John Docherty from the Daily Record. Cowdenbeath 1 Ross County 1 If county miss promotion, 'X' will mark the spot where they failed. Boss Bobby Wilson said: "We've lost just three games but drawn 15, which is not good enough. Another two valuable points disappeared at Central Park, but Wilson insisted: "We are still in there fighting, we've got eight games left." Meanwhile, Wilson hopes he might have unearthed another Duncan Ferguson. Wilson said of beanpole figure of 16-year-old Paul Bradshaw: "He reminds me a lot of big Dunc." Certainly, there are similarities. Bradshaw stands 6ft 2ins and, frankly, I've seen more meat on a butcher's pencil. But, for his size, the youngster showed some lovely touches-- just like Ferguson. It was a big day for Bradshaw, making his first start for County. Although he had to go off after being caught by a flying elbow, he did enough to show the promise is there. A point not lost on the watching scouts from Manchester United and Coventry. Beath, who nave shown steady improvement under manager Tom Steven, scored in the 14th minute thanks to a crisp shot from David Scott. But a headed equaliser from Stuart Golabek in the 33rd minute proved enough to earn County a share of the spoils. Steven said: "We've got a young team and they're improving all the time." |
