| Comments | Match Report Published 11/8/1994 Daily Record The Coca Cola Cup Goal Ace Grant Makes It County. ROSS COUNTY 3 QUEEN’S PARK 2 COUNTY notched a dramatic Win in their Coca-Cola Cup debut last night. They let slip a two goal lead only four minutes from the end. But top scorer Brian Grant netted his second goal of the night with only a minute left to send the Dingwall fans into raptures. It was Grant who had broken the deadlock after County dominated the first half. He taped in from close range following a corner only four minutes before the break. Jamie MacPherson then powered home a second four minutes after second-half for his first goal since returning to County. That put them in control - until Gary Orr pulled Queen's back into contention with a 75th minute header. Alan Maxwell stroked home an 86th minute equaliser. But Brian Grant popped up in the last minute to settle it. Brian Grant Scored Ross County 1st Goal in Scottish League Cup |
