Ross County 2 Falkirk 1
Ross County pulled 11 points clear at the summit of the Scottish Championship thanks to a 2-1 win over Falkirk.
Brian Graham gave County the lead on 12 minutes when his close-range header found the right corner of the goal following an assist from Josh Mullin.
Just 10 minutes later Keith Watson doubled the advantage with a header.
Ian McShane netted from the spot to pull one back for the visitors as Tom Grivosti walked for pulling down Zak Rudden in the box.
Ross Maclean and Jordan McGhee also came close for Falkirk but the league leaders would hold on.
Ross County co-manager Steven Ferguson: "It was a massive result for us. It showed everyone again the fantastic character that our team has and that attitude never to give it up and fight for every ball.
"We had to dig deep and thankfully we held on at the end under a lot of pressure - a man getting sent off and conceding a penalty."
Falkirk manager Ray McKinnon: "The first 20 minutes we weren't our usual and we paid the penalty for that. I think after 25 minutes we were the better team in the first half. We had a couple of opportunities we never capitalised on.
"I'd have to say we deserved something out of the game but we shot ourselves in the foot in the first 20 minutes."
