The Second Division champions hit the goal trail for the second game on the bounce to sink the islanders. The previous night County crushed local side Holm 11-0. Newsignings DyronDaal and Richard Brittain were on the scoresheet - with former Ajax striker Daal grabbing a hat-trick and ex-St Mirren man Brittain hitting a screamer. Craig Gunn put County ahead early on and Orkney's Adam Stanger turned the ball into his own net soon after. Brittain and Daal then put the away side on easy street. After the break Sean Higgins and Adam Strachan netted before Daal struck the seventh. Orkney grabbed a consolation late on through Chris Simpson butDaal completed the rout and his treble with an easy finish. |
