| Comments | Match Report Report from The Scotsman Forres Mechanics 0 Ross County 2 IT WAS double Dutch for Ross County with fellow-countrymen Kevin Luckassen and Marc Klok scoring the goals in this friendly match against Forres Mechanics at Mosset Park. Luckassen scored from the penalty spot in the eighth minute to give County the lead and, despite loads of possession, they had to wait until the first minute of injury time before substitute Klok added a second with a stunning 25-yard drive. But the “friendly” was marred by the dismissals of County’s Ivan Sproule and Mechanics’ Ross MacPherson. Referee Thomas Shaw had no option other than to flash red cards at the two players following a bust-up three minutes from the break. County boss Derek Adams was happy with the run-out. He said: “This is our second friendly match and most of the players have had 45 minutes with four playing 90 minutes. We’re ahead of schedule from a fitness point of view – it’s all about blending the new players in.” |
