Sub Michael Gardyne spared Ross County's blushes with a hat-trick in an extra-time win over plucky Alloa. Steven Watt's fourth-minute own goal give Second Division Alloa a shock lead, but County levelled when Gardyne headed home after 58 minutes. Greig Spence fired home to put the Wasps ahead in extra time, but Gardyne hammered in another equaliser. Gardyne had a spot-kick saved before firing home from close range after Alloa's Gary Carroll was sent off. |
