Kris Doolan was the hero for Partick Thistle as the Jags beat Ross County.
In an evenly contested game at Victoria Park, County duo Craig Brewster and Andy Dowie had shots blocked early on.
Partick opened the scoring after 67 minutes when Doolan tucked away a Marc Twaddle cutback, then doubled Thistle's advantage with a neat finish.
The home side kept plugging away but failed to break down a resolute Partick defence as Thistle ended a three-match losing run against County this season.
