Ross County 2 Brechin City 1 Substitute Dene Shields hit the winner to sink Brechin City and keep managerless Ross County top of the Second Division table. City had the better of the early exchanges, but Stewart Petrie forced home the opener for County after a Derek Adams corner after 50 minutes. Darren Gribben pounced on a deflected Darren Smith shot to equalise for Brechin after 66 minutes. But Shields sent a powerful header into the net a minute later. |
