| Comments | Match Report Report from the Dundee Courier. Alloa Athletic 0 Ross County 1 A solitary Alloa own goal was all it took to secure County's passage to round three of the Bell's Challenge Cup last night. While the record books will record Ferguson as the match winner in this tie, it's between Alloa defender Brown Ferguson and County midfielder Steven Ferguson to fight over the credit, as both challenged for a 48th-minute cross which was headed past Wasps keeper James Evans. It looked to come from the head of the young defender, but justice was probably done as County had looked more creative side. |
