Ross County 1 Albion Rovers 1
Another two precious promotion points went a-begging for Ross County at Dingwall last night as the draw experts failed to see off the challenge of bottom side Albion Rovers.
The home side moved up to third place, one point above Highland rivals Caledonian Thistle, and now they and Manchester United are the only senior sides in Britain to retain an undefeated home record.
But County will be bitterly disappointed at the squandered opportunity. Colin Milne gave them a first-half lead from the penalty spot, but resurgent Rovers ran them ragged at times in the second half before David Byrne scored a glorious equaliser with a 20-yard drive into the roof of the net.
Understrength County were minus midfielders Stuart Golabek and Robbie Williamson with knee injuries and Jamie MacPherson with cartilage trouble.
