| Comments | Match Report Report from the BBC. Ayr United 2 Ross County 3 Richard Brittain scored a hat-trick as Ross County beat Ayr United to move three points clear at the top of the Scottish First Division. Brittain curled home a 20-yard free-kick on 16 minutes and converted a penalty seven minutes before the break following Adam Dodd's foul on Gary Miller. Michael Moffat headed one back for Ayr after the break and Keigan Parker levelled matters with a strike from the edge of the area. But Brittain was to have the final say, smacking a 30-yard drive into the net 10 minutes from time. |
