| Comments | Match Report Report from the BBC. Greenock Morton 1 Ross County 1 First Division champions Ross County extended their unbeaten record in the league to 32 games but could not secure maximum points as they drew with Morton at Cappielow Park. Colin McMenamin put County in front in the sixth minute when he headed past Alan Combe. But Morton were level four minutes before the break when Marc Smyth's beat Michael Fraser from 12 yards out. Sammy Morrow should have put County back in front with a second-half header but his effort flew narrowly wide. Archie Campbell thought he had won the game for the Greenock side two minutes into stoppage time but he was denied by a stunning save from Fraser. |
