| Comments | Match Report Report from the BBC. Ross County 5 Montrose 0 Michael Gardyne scored a double as Ross County cruised into the second round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup after a second-half surge dumped Montrose. Steven Craig turned in Richard Brittain's cross just before the break. Gardyne scored with a well-struck volley before Scott Morrison finished after a neat one-two with Paul Lawson. Gardyne hammered home a cross from Craig, and, with 11 minute remaining, substitute John Stewart nodded in another Brittain corner. |
