| Comments | Match Report Report from the BBC. Ross County 1 Ayr United 0 Scott Boyd helped Ross County cement second place in the Division One table after a victory over struggling Ayr. Boyd latched onto the end of a Richard Brittain corner to poke the ball home from close range in the 51st minute. County should have taken a 17th-minute lead when Scott Morrison launched a thunderous 35-yard drive inches wide of the left-hand post. But the Honest Men came back strongly when Junior Mendes' effort went narrowly wide. |
