Ayr United 1 Ross County 4
Leaders Ross County produced a first-half goal blitz to run out convincing winners at Ayr.
A Stewart Petrie brace and further strikes from Derek Adams and Andy Barrowman all inside the opening 31 minutes set up a superb win.
Adams dispatched a 25-yard effort before Petrie grabbed his first of the afternoon with a neat header.
Barrowman made it three before Petrie volleyed another. Williams netted a consolation penalty for Ayr.
