| Comments | Match Report Report from the BBC. Ross County 1 Queen of the South 0 Ross County held on to beat Queen of the South and seal their first home win of the season thanks to a goal from Don Cowie in Division One. County threatened early on, but Queens had the best first-half chance when Mike Mullen had his goalbound shot smothered by keeper Barry John Corr. A fine cross from Michael Gardyne was headed in by Cowie and County went on to play some accomplished football. But a Barry Callaghan shot rattled the post as Queens almost equalised. |
