| Match Report | Report from the Green Final. Ross County 0 Peterhead 4 PETERHEAD showed their skills at Victoria Park and the ace of the day was hat-trick hero Brian Thomson. County had Johnston and Bellshaw back in the middle of the defence, but were without Avlemore teenager Lee O’Brien, who Injured. It was a cat and mouse affair in the early stages with neither keeper being really tested after 10 minutes. County had a good move in 13 minutes, but a perfect Connelly cross saw no takers and then a similar in swinger from Wilson also went a-begging. A swirling wind was making fluent football difficult but after 22 minutes Brian THOMSON headed Peterhead into the lead after a clever move on the right.
