| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Brora Rangers 1 Ross County Ross County did have a game in mid-week, however. They travelled North to Brora in very wintry conditions to engage the local Rangers in what is usually a Festive Season fixture, postponed then because of Scottish Cup commitments. Reports have it that conditions were such that the Referee Mr William Murray, could well have abandoned the game at half-time, if the teams had been level-pegging. As it was with Brora leading at the interval, Mr Murray had little recourse, but to continue. George Stewart equalised Murray’s 19th minute goal in the last period of the game. A draw was a fair result, all things considered. |
