| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Forres Mechanics 2 Ross County 0 THE cross ball seems to be the downfall of Ross County in recent games, as it was on Saturday on their “pointless” visit to Forres. The new park is taking some little time to settle, and the surface is causing no few problems for visiting teams, and the home team for that matter. Ross County had as many chances of scoring as Forres in the course of the game. One particular header from Bellshaw rocketed off the bar. However, in the last quarter it was the home side who came clear with the maximum three points. In the 68th minute, Grant raced down the left wing and his cross was volleyed home by Forsyth for the first counter. Eleven minutes later, Grant again whipped over a perfect cross from the by-line, and a header from Mulholland went into the top corner of the net. |
