| Match Report | Report from the Press and Journal. Elgin City 1 Ross County 0 A first-half goal by Ally Jappy at Borough Briggs last night keeps Elgin City's TSB Highland League title hopes alive, although they could have had many more goals but for a spirited second-half performance by Ross County. With 25 minutes gone, a high ball was slung over to be met first-time by a precision pass from Paterson, which dissected the County defence and sent Jappy through. He drew John Sultar from his line before slotting the ball into the bottom corner. |
