| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Keith 2 Ross County 1 IN THE goal-less first half at Keith on Saturday, Ross County more than held their own against former potential champions, and then just after half-time — in the 51st minute — Chris Somerville put them into the lead, lobbing the ball over keeper Thain’s head after his first effort had been blocked. In the 66th minute, Yates equalised for Keith with a fine header, which went in off the underside of the bar, and then in the 75th minute, Pirie turned the game round, when he netted with a close-range drive. On the day, a draw would have been a fairer result. |
