Match Report	Report from the Banffshire Herald. Keith 1 Ross County 0 FORMER Maroons manager Bobby Wilson had an unhappy return to Kynoch Park, in charge of Ross County. But he can be proud of his side's performance; they were unlucky not to snatch a draw. Keith recalled Ian Grant to the attack, and Bruce Martin's decision paid off handsomely. The Maroons should have gone in front within the first minute, but Pirie lofted a Masson header high over the bar from close range. County were struggling to raise their game, and only a brave Suttar clearance off the head of Pirie prevented the home side from taking the lead. However, in the 10th minute, the home side broke the deadlock. A Yeats mishit at goal landed into the path of IAN GRANT, who shot home from 18 yards. Some great play between Masson and Pirie ended in a Yeats 30-yard drive going narrowly wide. Keith had a real let-off on the half-hour mark. A Ferries corner was dropped by Thain and from the resultant scramble Gair was unlucky to see his 18-yard drive come off the face of the crossbar and eventually into the arms of Ian Thain. The second half was only seconds old when Keith keeper Thain pulled off a brilliant one-handed save from a James McKay header. Five minutes later Jackson missed another great chance when he shot a James McKay pass weakly past from the edge of the box. Barbour missed a great chance to put Keith further ahead in the 51st minute when a pass from Pirie sent him clear but he drove against Suttar from 12 yards. A break by Ross County after 60 minutes ended in keeper Thain doing well to saved a Gair drive from the edge of the box. At the other end, Suttar easily saved a Pirie header from a McKay cross. Keith missed another chance in the 69th minute when Barbour drove against Bellshaw from six yards. Suttar thwarted Barbour once again by pulling off a save from the big No. 9's first-time shot. In the 85th minute, only a great save from Thain, when he blocked a Macrae drive from six yards, kept the scoreline.
