| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Inverness Clachnacuddin, 7 Ross County 2 These teams met in the North of Scotland League at Grant Street, Inverness, on Saturday. Ross County made a good beginning and during the first period gave as good ag they got. They opened their account through Bremner. The Clach forwards were often dangerous, but offside spoiled many scoring chances., Indeed seldom has more offside decisions been given in one game. The home team were the worst sinners and paid the penalty. Shortly before half-time, however, Clach equalised through Fowler. In the second haif, the Ross-shire defence was overwhelmed. The scoring started when Hughes, the Ross County goalkeeper, misjudged a high shot, which sailed into the net. From that point Clach never looked back and before they stopped scoring the total had reached seven. It was child’s play. Just at the end Bremner got a second goal for his team. |
