Match Report	Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Huntly 1 Ross County 2 There was not a great display given by either team at Huntly, Ross County did not exhibit form justifying their position as League leaders. As a matter of fact, it was Huntly who displayed the finer touches, and had they been less elaborate, Ross County would not have taken away two points. Individualism was overdone on the part of certain players in the Huntly side. Nicol found it easy to open Huntly's account from a rebound off the crossbar after six minutes' play. Huntly did most of the attacking for the remainder of the first half, but County were always dangerous in breakaways. In two of these Ross scored. The first was from a slip by Gowl—about the only thing he was allowed to do. The winning goal should have been prevented by Paul. He hesitated in coming out for a loose ball and Ross did not give him a second chance. The closing half was devoid of interest. Defences dominated the play. A feature of an indifferent game was the pivotal displays of Burnett and Ritchie. The former First League player was a tower of strength. The Ross County men were late in arriving and the last twenty minutes of the game was played in half-light.
