Match Report	Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Ross County were without the services of Macneil, J. G. Mackay and Calder at Nairn, but even that should not have accounted for the debacle. Nairn County had out a new centre-forward who led a rampant forward line with discrimination. The scoring started early. Campbell cleverly nipped in between a bunch of Ross defenders to slip home a perfect pass from McIntosh after 15 minutes. Bowie, coming up for a corner, scored the second when he lobbed a shot high into the goal. Campbell next bundled Spence and the ball over the line. Nettled by these reverses, Ross County staged an attack which brought them a penalty kick. Burnett took the shot but Webster saved brilliantly. Bowie showed Burnett how it should be done, when he took a penalty kick to put his side four up. Before half-time this was increased to five by Macdonald. A second penalty kick for the home team signalised the opening of the second half and Ross converted. The total was increased to seven by Mackintosh, who benefited from a faulty clearance by Spence. In vain did Ross County try to make headway, but there was little or no combination among the forwards. In the end goals by Campbell, Mackintosh and Macdonald brought out the double figures. Nairn County were beyond doubt the better team. Their opponents never seemed to settle. Burnett and J. A. Mackay were the only two Ross County players to play to form.
