| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Fraserburgh 4 Ross County 0. Game stopped after 75 minutes; score stands. A heavy snowfall in the second half of the Highland League fixture between Fraserburgh and Ross County at Bellslea Park on Saturday caused the game to be abandoned. Twenty-five minutes after the resumption, County, who had the elements against them and were in a quite hopeless position, gave up and conceded the points to Fraserburgh with the score standing at 4-0 against them. There was no scoring in the first half, during which County had a strong breeze in their favour. The feature of the match was the fine performance of Geo. Bell, the Fraserburgh centre-forward, who signalised his return from Doncaster, where he had been playing for the Rovers for three months, by scoring four goals in twenty-two minutes. A Fraserburgh correspondent writes in glowing language about Urquhart’s play. |
