Match Report	Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Deveronvale 0 Ross County 2 AT LAST after a spell of over two months without a victory, Ross County gained three valuable points at Banff on Saturday, on a venue which has not always been lucky for them. From the start, Ross County put their opponents under steady pressure and deserved their 2-0 interval lead. Both goals came from young Brian Grant, the first in the 17th minute from a pass from Macdonald, and the second in the 30th minute following a mix-up in the home defence. In the second half, both sides created further chances, which neither could convert, although Vale came close on two occasions. Ross Cathcart replaced Derck Rudkin in goal, and gave a good account of himself over the piece. The strong resemblance between Scott Lemmon and Gary Campbell has been remarked upon on several occasions, and it seems the Sunday Post reporter could not differentiate, for he had Scott being replaced by Barry Wilson towards the end. It was in fact Gary who was replaced.
