| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Ross County 3 Forres Mechanics 1 ON WEDNESDAY of last week, Ross County defeated Forres Mechanics by three goals to one at Victoria Park, Dingwall, with two counters coming from recent signing Jimmy Laidlaw, who should prove an excellent acquisition by the club in the coming season, once toned to fitness. He has been showing up well in recent games as play maker, ready to make the most of opportunities presented to George Stewart scored the third goal. According to reports this was a poor Forres team, which could quite easily have succumbed by a much greater margin of goals. |
