| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Caledonian FC 3 Ross County 1 Caley gradually wore Ross County down in their League match at Inverness on Saturday and opened the scoring through Macdonald in the 22nd minute, when his shot from 20 yards from a Robertson pass gave Suttar no chance. Six minutes later, Macdonald was again on target with a low shot from ten yards. County pulled one back when Cowie made no mistake from the penalty spot in the 46th minute, after Ferries had been impeded. However, in the 59th minute, Caley secured the win when Urquhart met a Robertson corner at the near post. |
