| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Lossiemouth 1 Ross County 3 On Saturday, County had to make several changes for their League match at Lossiemouth and were without Connolly, who was suspended for one game. However, the boys came out of this encounter with flying colours, another three points, and third position in the League Table. Their goal tally is worth recording at this stage, for they have scored 43 and conceded 23! At Lossiemouth, it took County five minutes to go into the lead, when a Cameron Robertson cross was netted by Billy Ferries, who was to stamp his authority and ability on the match with a great display of football. Lossiemouth equalised in the 23rd minute, when Macdonald headed home an Adamson cross from 15 yards. Thus it was equality at halftime. However, in the 51st minute, Jackson headed home a perfect cross from Ferries, and with five minutes to go, scored with a shot from fifteen yards to complete the tally. |
