| Match Report | Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Brora Rangers 0 Ross County 1 ROSS COUNTY completed the double over Brora Rangers in this year's Festive Season matches, a great achievement, and one which has escaped them for a few years now. A large support followed County to Sutherland — a good sign for the year ahead. With one minute of the first half remaining, Ross County scored the only goal of the match, a first-class combined effort involving Cameron Robertson, Billy Ferries, and Dave Jackson, who completed the action when he beat keeper Stewart in a race for the ball and guided home Ferries’ defence-splitting pass. County always looked the more dangerous side and were on top throughout. Towards the end, Brora lost the services of their player-manager John Black for his second bookable offence. |
