Match Report	Report from the Ross-shire Journal. Ross County 0 Peterhead 3 Peterhead, with keen League aspirations, sent a strong team to Dingwall and right from the start, play was of the keenest description. Outside left Urquhart had the first real goal-scoring opportunity, but threw it away recklessly. At the other end, Anderson had a "gift," but the ball struck an upright and Newton caught the rebound. Peterhead became more impressive and kept up a constant pressure. When Anderson scored, it was no more than was deserved. Newton had no chance to save. The visitors maintained superiority and but for Patience, might have increased their lead. County wing halves were weak, and Urquhart and G. were of little value in the forward line. Centre-half Buchan was the mainstay of the Peterhead team. Ross County improved somewhat in the open at the turn-round, but they were not too dangerous. Buchan and his backs had them well in hand. Spiers did make an attempt to head-in a cross from Ogilvie, but it was easily held. Mackintosh increased Peterhead's lead with a long-distance shot. Newton reached to it, but it was too hot for him to divert. Ross County were a team of individualists. Twice Clark, in his anxiety to score, robbed Ogilvie of likely chances. Peterhead, however, were distinctly the better team, although some of their methods of stopping their opponents were not just orthodox. ~ Just on time, Mackintosh beat Newton with a well-placed header.
