The visitors were wasting opportunities by shooting wildly past. Fraserburgh should have increased their lead when Low gave a perfect pass Scott who misskicked at point blank range. John McRobbie bad bard lines with a rocket shot which produced comer. The County resumed the attack and kept the opposing defence on tenter-hooks for several minutes This spurt ended successfully Bowie crossed to Traill, who flashed the ball into the net from ten yards out. The County improved distinctly in the last stage of the game, when Fraserburgh were mostly confined to their own territory, but their finishing work was weak. During melee in goal mouth, with Anderson out of position. Young should have got the equaliser, but his shot soared over the crossbar. Morrison had a couple of likely chances in the closing minutes but his headers went wide of the mark. |
