Greenock Morton 0 Ross County 3
Striker Alex Bone scored a double against Morton at Cappielow last night to help end Ross County's fears of being dragged into the First Division relegation zone.
County opened the scoring in 34 minutes. John Fraser intelligently made space on the left before crossing for Bone to head the ball into the net.
It was 2-0 for Ross County in 40 minutes when a fierce 25-yard drive from Martin Canning was deflected past keeper Stuart Webster.
The Dingwall men were on easy street in the final seconds of the first half when Bone headed goal No. 3.
Morton's Brian Kerr was sent off in 84 minutes for his second yellow card.
