Billy ferries is desperate to repay Neale Cooper for his loyalty--by blasting County back into the promotion race.
The 32-year-old winger suffered eight months of injury hell before Saturday's substitute appearance.
And his return set fans buzzing despite their heroes' continuing from slump.
He said: "I now need games to complete my recovery and get back to top form. I'm raring to go. "I know people will expect a lot from me and that is maybe understandable as result haven't been going our way recently.
"I'm just glad to be back at a crucial time. Neale has shown tremendous faith in me and has always wanted me back.
"I'm determined to repay him. Some people have written me off but I aim to prove them wrong."
Derek Adams blew County's best chance when he was sent clean through. He rounded the keeper and only had to angle the ball home from 12 yards but Ballooned it over the bar.
Sons boss Ian Wallace said: "It is never easy playing the Highland teams on their own ground but we had chances at the end when maybe we could have snatched it."
