| Comments | Match Report Report from the Press & Journal. Ross County 1 Buckie Thistle 0 Ross County manager Bobby Wilson predicts another thriller in tonight's Tennents League Cup first round replay with Caley at Inverness as two unbeaten teams clash before a big crowd. "We've no injury problems and last week's game with Caley was a tremendous one and I don't see this one as being any different," he commented. "We're really looking forward to it." A Barry WILSON strike 20 minutes from the end gave County their second successive league win, though the Ross boss admitted: "A draw looked on the cards for long enough and I'll forecast that the Buckie front two of Jim Findlay and Gary Clark will cause problems to a few teams this season. Buckie manager Bob Summers said: "We deserved to get something out of the game. But it was another encouraging performance by my lads and I'm pleased at their progress." Andy Fettes, such a stalwart in defence for the Green and Whites during the past two seasons, will not be playing at all this season, Summers revealed. "Andy has work commitments and is unable to devote time to football this term, though he will train with us to keep himself in trim. |
