Nairn County 1 Ross County 5 Ross County fans who attend Saturday's home Press and Journal Highland League game against Keith will be given a chance to comment on the Dingwall club's Scottish League plans. Ballot papers will be handed out at the turnstiles by the Victoria Park board, who discussed the issue before County travelled to Nairn, asking for a Yes or No vote on the club's plans to apply. "We feel we need to consult our supporters," said County chairman Hector McLennan. Meanwhile at Station Park, County bounced back from their midweek defeat by Elgin to cruise to a comfortable 5-1 win over Nairn. Former Don Andy McLEOD had County in front at half-time with a fifth-minute, opener and second-half counters from Gordon CONNELLY , Chis SOMERVILLE and Alan DUFF made it 4-0 before Ian FRASER bagged a consolation for the Wee County. Brian GRANT rounded off the scoring. |
