| Comments | Match Report Report from the Press & Journal. Forres Mechanics 1 Ross County 1 Ross County Manager Bobby Wilson won't be fooled by the performance of Scottish Cup opponents St Cuthbert Wanderers, who were thrashed 5-0 by Whitehill Welfare in the south Qualifying Cup final on Saturday. After making the 600-mile round trip to watch the match at Annan, Wilson said: St Cuthbert weren't too clever but I can't take that performance at face value. They were without three regulars and I think they simply 'froze' on the day. Losing two goals at the start of the second half killed them off. "Whitehill were clearly the better team, but if Wanderers are back to strength they could be a different proposition by the time they come to Dingwall." Wilson missed seeing his side fail to take full points from improving Forres. Alan DUFF fired County ahead as the Qualifying Cup winners dominated the first half, but Mechanics fought back strongly to level through Gary LEIPER. Johnston Bellshaw, the County centre half who has missed their last two games, will make his comeback against Deveronvale at Victoria Park this Saturday-- but Cammy Robertson returns offshore and is unavailable. |
