Ross County progressed to the fourth-round of the Homecoming Scottish Cup with a narrow win over Dumbarton.
The visitors took the lead in the 24th minute through Richard Brittain's penalty after Ben Gordon was adjudged to have handled in the box.
County doubled their lead eight minutes before the break when Ritchie Hart converted Steven Craig's cross.
Dumbarton hit back when Gordon nodded home Stevie Murray's corner and Michael Moore hit the bar for Sons late on.
