Partick produced a five-star performance at Victoria Park to move within two points of leaders Gretna.
Andy Dowie headed County in front from a Derek Adams corner after 31 minutes, but two goals from Stephen McConalogue gave the Jags a half-time lead.
Hugh Robertson levelled with a superb free-kick in 54 minutes, but Brown Ferguson made it 3-2 to the Jags three minutes later with a 25-yard strike.
Patrick Keogh and Mark Roberts sealed the win for the visitors.
