Ross County Manager Neale Cooper ran out of patience with his Ross County players last night after the 2-0 home defeat to First Division relegation favourites Morton.
Cooper's men have won just once in their last eight league starts and Morton's Ross Mathieson rubbed salt in the Highland side's wounds with a first-half double.
"I thought our performance against Airdrie recently was bad but this was far worse." said an angry Cooper.
"We were a shambles defensively. Nobody took responsibility on the park. Too many players were dancing about the park and it was embarrassing against a young Morton side.
"Our fans are entitled to feel cheated after paying good money to see that display. We had a chance to make sure we were safe and we never looked like we wanted to take it.
"Our experienced players let us down again and I won't take any more. There will be big changes for Saturday's game against Ayr United and a couple of players who regard themselves as regulars have a shock coming when they see the team sheet on Saturday."
While Cooper was livid, Morton boss Ally Maxwell took great delight in adding a win over County to a 2-0 success over Airdrie last Saturday, giving his side back-to-back victories for the first time this season.
