| Comments | Match Report Report from the Press & Journal. Clyde 2 Ross County 0 Pride did not come before a fall for Ross County. Angry manager Neale Cooper said: "This is a major disappointment, particularly after our midweek win at Morton. We kept giving the ball away and the main missing ingredient was pride." County cannot now reach that mid-table fifth position occupied by Clyde and are suddenly looking over their shoulders at Raith Rovers, who are only two points behind them. Clyde were much the busier side, with Jack Ross and Jamie Mitchell involved in the action. It took some outstanding saves from Ross keeper Nicky Walker to keep the scoresheet blank at the interval. But Clyde finally went ahead six minutes into the second half when a Mitchell cross found Ross and he took time to chip the ball beyond the keeper. Walker made a superb double save midway through the second half when he dived to stop a close range effort from Mitchell and then got up quickly to deny the return from Craig Bingham. But two minutes from time Walker was beaten again when Steve Convery scored. |
