County hit by air raid
Former Motherwell Striker Ally Graham Was the Kirkcaldy goal king with a superb hat-trick as Raith eventually made it a Dingwall doddle as they reached the last 16 of the Coca-Cola Cup.
But Jimmy Nicholl's men had to move up a gear in the second half to finally break down courageous County.
It was not until the 55th minute that the dogged Dingwall defence was pierced. But, in the end, Raith took the high road to victory with four headed goals.
County had their moments, particuarly in the first half, and showed good discipline and perseverence, but the First Division men's pace and sharpness eventually took its toll.
Raith made the vital strike in 55 minutes when Kirkwood squared cleverly for Cameron to smash a low 20 yarder in off the post.
The home side were stunned in 65 minutes when Graham powered home a header from Lennon's corner kick.
Campbell had a amazing goal-line stop from a Lennon piledriver as Raith took control and it was 3-0 in 74 minutes when Dalziel nodded home Lennon's cross.
In 85 minutes came the pick of the bunch, a superb header by Graham from Dair's cross. And, two minutes from time. Graham completed his hat-trick when he polished off Lennon's pinpoint cross with another header.
