Queen's Park 3 Ross County 1 Ross County striker Jamie McPherson--the Bell's Third Division top marksman with seven goals--could be facing a lengthy injury lay-off. The Helmsdale lad was carried off with knee ligament damage during Saturday's nine-man 3-1 defeat by Queen's Park at Hampden and his injury is causing concern. Midfield man Billy Herd and defender Willie Furphy were both red cards--Herd for retaliating off the ball and Furphy for a last man foul--before the game was half an hour old.
